ThemisReviews compares smart home gear by the protocol it speaks and the system you run, because "works with Alexa" tells you nothing about whether a switch will join your Z-Wave network or show up in Home Assistant.
Who runs it
The site is run by a smart home developer who writes Home Assistant integrations. Most "best smart switch" lists mix protocols together and never say which hub you need, so this one is built the other way around.
What makes it different
Every review page sticks to one protocol, so the products on it can share a network. The Works with column and filter show which systems each product supports. Every page explains its score, and when a listing has a real problem we name it in an avoid pick instead of quietly leaving it out. The full method is on How we rank.
