Buyer's guide

Why add a smart siren?

A siren turns your sensors into an alarm: a door opening at night, a leak, or smoke can sound it, without a monitored alarm system. Many also chime softly for doors or announce events.

How loud is loud enough?

Around 100-110 dB indoors is plenty to wake a house and scare off an intruder. Several models let you pick quieter chimes for everyday alerts.

Battery or plug-in?

Plug-in sirens also act as mesh repeaters, which strengthens the network. Battery models can go anywhere but don't repeat.
