Curtain robot or curtain motor?

Curtain robots clip onto your existing rod or track and push the curtain along, no tools needed. Motorized tracks replace the rod and are quieter and stronger, but take more work to install.

Will it work with my rod?

Check the rod type and diameter. Most robots list compatible U-rails, I-rails, and round rods by size.

Do they need a hub?

Bluetooth robots need the maker's hub for voice control and away-from-home control. Wi-Fi motors connect straight to your router; Zigbee motors need a Zigbee hub.
